Video files can not be limited to a few extensions. Different movie making told produce movie files with different extensions. Not all the players are capable of playing all those file formats. But .ogm files can be played using a video player.
It’s VLC media player. VLC media player can play video files with .ogm extension. In order to let VLC play this file, you have to associate this file type with VLC media player. To do this, follow below steps.
- Right click on the video file with .ogm extension.
- Go to Properties.
- Locate the option Opens with and click on Change
- Select VLC media player from that menu
- Check the option “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file”
- Click Ok and again Ok.
- Now you are done.
