Since Windows 7 does not allow to add recycle bin icon to taskbar, here is the trick to beat them.

What we are trying to achieve :



1) Right click on your dektop & select New> Shortcut.

2) In the location type the following:

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe shell:RecycleBinFolder

3) Click on Next.

4) Enter the Shortcut name you want.

5) Shortcut will be on your desktop, change the icon as per your wish.

That’s it! Now you can simply drag the icon into the taskbar. The recycle bin icon will be placed there. Once it’s placed, you’re free to delete the shortcut that you previously created on your desktop.
