The $99 Apple iPhone is here — yes it true, but probably in limited quantities. AT&T has started selling refurbished iPhone 3Gs as low as $99 for a limited time. AT&T is now offering iPhone 3G 8GB iPhones for $99 with a new 2 year service contract or a 16GB model in White or Black can be had for $199.

This is an extra $50 savings over what AT&T was previously selling the refurbished models for, but you better hurry — the sale ends on New Year’s Eve.
