Orkut has introduced a very essential feature which will allow you to block inappropriate content from being shown while you surf orkut. This should block all the spam vulgar posts in your scraps and orkut communities and block vulgar and offend-able orkut communities and profiles from getting displayed.

By default, this safety filter is set to show all content. You may like to change that setting and turn the safety filter on for best orkutting experience and keeping bad side of orkut away.

• Navigate to your General Settings Page
• Now, below your brithday reminders option, you will find the safety filter.
• Make sure you choose to disable inappropriate content from showing up.
• Save changes and Done
